To check the status of your 2018 PA-40 income tax refund online, visit the Pennsylvania Revenue e-Services Center and use their where's my refund service. Pennsylvania Revenue e-Services Center asks that you wait at least eight weeks before using this tool.
To check your PA income tax refund status for 2018 you will need the following information:

- Amount of your refund
The requested information must match what was submitted on your PA-40 state income tax forms for the current year. To look up a refund for a prior tax year you will need to contact the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue customer service center through the online form provided.
