North Dakota Office of State Tax Commissioner states that you could receive your refund within 2 weeks if you efile compared with 6-8 weeks if filing on paper. To retrieve the status of your ND income tax refund for 2016 you will need the following information:
- Social Security Number
- Filing Status
- Amount of refund requested
The requested information must match what was submitted on your ND-1 state income tax forms for the current year.
