Printable New Mexico (NM) state income tax form PIT-1 must be postmarked by April 15, 2019 in order to avoid penalties and late fees. The New Mexico income tax rate for 2018 is progressive from a low of 1.7% to a high of 4.9%. New Mexico Taxation & Revenue Department states that you could receive your refund within 2 to 4 weeks if you e-file compared to 6 to 8 weeks if filing on paper.

- Social Security Number or ITIN
- Amount of refund requested
