To check your 2018 NJ-1040 income tax refund status online, visit the State of New Jersey Division of Taxation website and use their Check Your Refund service. State of New Jersey Division of Taxation asks that you wait 10 days before checking the status of an electronically filed return and 12 weeks for a mailed in paper return.
