Printable Connecticut (CT) state income tax form CT-1040 must be postmarked by April 15, 2019 in order to avoid penalties and late fees. To check the status of your Connecticut CT-1040 income tax refund online, visit the State of Connecticut Department of Revenue Services website and use their Check Status Of Refund service. State of Connecticut Department of Revenue Services states on their website that refunds for electronically filed returns generally are issued within 4 business days of the receipt of the return. Paper tax forms mailed in take 10-12 weeks to process. The status of a paper income tax return will not be available until the forms have entered their system.
