Printable State IL-1040 Tax Form and Instructions
Printable Illinois (IL) state income tax form IL-1040 must be postmarked by April 15, 2015 in order to avoid penalties and late fees. Printable Illinois state tax forms for the current tax year will be based on income earned between January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014. Illinois State Income Tax Refund Status
To check the status of your IL-1040 income tax refund online, visit the Illinois Department of Revenue website and use their Income Tax Refund Status Inquiry service. Illinois Department of Revenue refund processing time is stated as within three weeks for an electronically filed return and as long as 15 weeks for a mailed in paper return. To retrieve the status of your IL income tax refund for 2014 you will need the following information:
- Social Security Number
- Adjusted Gross Income (Line 1)
The requested information must match what was submitted on your IL-1040 state income tax forms for the current year. To look up prior year refunds, you will need to contact the Illinois Department of Revenue service center by phone or mail.
