“TaxBrain.com has been receiving nationwide attention for it's recently released viral video of a NASCAR race car being “stolen” by a fan at California's Altamont Motorsports Park,” explained Mr. Taylor.
“The TaxBrain.com viral video, created and produced as a commercial exclusively for user-generated video sites such as YouTube.com, featured the 'theft' which was actually rehearsed and staged by trained, professional actors,” he said. However, when a Bay area TV station aired the video as a 'real' news item, newswire services, Internet sites and local TV outlets in more than 125 US markets picked up the very funny video.
